Happenings

Heather Wulfers, licensed professional clinical counselor and board certified art therapist for the past several years, has held a variety of positions within the field of mental health and higher education serving as dedicated practitioner, graduate institute and university level academic professor, college faculty board member, NM art therapy association president, group and individual supervisor and current art therapy/neuroscience research doctoral student at Mount Mary University. Recently relocated from Santa Fe, NM her experience is rich with transpersonal approaches, trauma-informed concepts, somatic mindfulness and grounded creative expressive modalities at its core. Heather is currently working as the Brain to Behavior Program’s Art Therapist at the Institute for Personal Development in Illinois alongside Dr. Konopka, neuroscientist and program director.
