Leon Lopez

Leon D. Lopez brings a wealth of expertise and experience in both finance and behavioral health to the Board of SWC. Leon currently is the General Manager of ASO Operations for Falling Colors Corporation. Falling Colors serves as the Administrative Service Organization (ASO) for the New Mexico Behavioral Health Collaborative, managing and administering the State’s Non-Medicaid behavioral health dollars.
Prior to becoming General Manager, Leon served as Falling Colors CFO. Leon has also worked for Christus-St. Vincent (one of New Mexico’s largest healthcare providers) and the State of New Mexico Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD) as Deputy Director and CFO. A native Santa Fean, Leon holds Undergraduate Degrees in Business Management and Economics, as well as Masters’ Degrees in both Social Work and Business Administration.
