Suparna Bhaskaran, PhD,  has a background in Anthropology, Public Policy, and Gender & Sexuality Studies. She is a non-resident Fellow at the Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy at The New School. She has taught and directed programs at Antioch College and Agnes Scott College; and is a lecturer at the Ohio State University. She organizes with community groups working on immigrant and refugee justice and on transnational popular and political education.
