Do we want SUCCESS or ACCEPTANCE??? ..... How many of us were told we'd never amount to anything, or were abandoned, left, used or abused.. or told we weren't good enough, or cute / handsome enough, etc.?? .... And how many of us have had the thought that "if I became Successful, it would prove everyone wrong that ever doubted me"??
If this is your case, I have to tell you that you're suffering from BITTERNESS... Success is not what you want. What you want is an Apology. You want to show "them" they were wrong about you, but striving hard just for that "Look at me now" moment will only temporarily satisfy you. The mental bondage we place ourselves in, by holding on to this type of hurt, is not destroyed by "stuntin" on those that caused this pain. That hurt will still be there & until we FORGIVE them, we will never have total Peace Of Mind ..... Forgive, not for them, but for YOU! Ps. You don't need man's acceptance, because you have GOD's acceptance! Stay encouraged, God bless We've all had a bit of anger towards Adam & Eve, questioning why did they disobey God, right? ........ But how many times have WE been faced with temptation & disobeyed God??? ...... We've all failed God in some area of our lives, so let's not judge others when they mess up (bcuz as you can see here, we can't even judge Adam & Eve lol) ........... But God is a FORGIVING God ..... When you fall short, don't QUIT! Sincerely repent & keep pressing toward Heaven! ..... stay encouraged
James 5:16 - "...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" ...... The ETRV (Easy-to-Read Version) says "...Anyone who lives the way God wants can pray, and great things will happen" ...... How many of us enjoy Praying day & night, turning our knees black from constantly Praying on them, & NOT seeing results?? .... I assume, none of us ....... Don't we all want GREAT things to happen when we Pray?? ... Well this scripture reveals how, but Obeying God.. living a life that's pleasing to Him A Parent is more likely to buy Ice Cream for a child that's excelling in school, rather than a child with bad grades .... And this scripture tells us that's how things work concerning our HEAVENLY Father ..... So let's focus on improving our 'grades' so we have the things we ask of our Father Stay encouraged, God bless!

These are the excuses we use to not come to Church, and in our minds, these are really good excuses! ...... But the devil is a LIAR! ... he will give us ANY excuse not to give God praise .... Let's break free from these pathetic (yes, pathetic) excuses the devil is feeding us & give God His due praise! If you don't have a home church, I invite you to attend "Greater Shiloh: Church Of God In Christ" ..... Sunday School - 9:30am ... Sunday Morning Worship - 11:30am ... Tuesday Bible Study - 7:30pm ... Friday Youth Night - 7:30pm .... and Morning Prayer from Tuesday through Friday at 5:30am ....... Drop in whenever you like .. I love you (reader)! God bless I can tell you all day how good Jesus Christ is, just like Sam-I-Am told his friend about the Green Eggs & Ham... you just have to try Him for YOURSELF ...... All I got to say is when you REALLY experience Him, get ready to praise Him here & there, get ready to praise Him everywhere! ...... Get ready to praise Him in a house, get ready to praise Him with a mouse! ...... Get ready to praise Him in a box, get ready to praise Him with a fox! ................ I heard this story a few years back (around the time of the Iraqi Taliban scare), that a group of Terrorists held up a Church! They came equipped with AK-47's, yelling & screaming - threatening to kill everyone for believing in God! They told the ppl "all those who believe in God, stand against the wall bcuz we're about to kill you.. every1 else, take your leave!" (practically, the ENTIRE congregation left) .......... So after all the ppl left, the Terrorists locked the door ...... then the Terrorists took off their Costumes and turns out they were really the PASTOR and his DEACONS!! ..... They looked at the ppl who were ready to die for believing in God and said "OK, now we can have REAL CHURCH!!"
Revelation 2:10 says "be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life" .... Although the threat was fake, it revealed what was REALLY in the ppl's hearts! ... The hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE Worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him (John 4:23) Let the Worshippers arise! All the glory belongs to GOD, but PRIDE causes us to Boast in ourselves .... HUMILITY reveals to us that we can do nothing in our own strength (John 15:5) .... WE NEED GOD! Psalm 29:2 says "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness" ......... We owe God His praise!! If you never knew, Saints say "Praise God" and "Glory be to God" bcuz they're acknowledging that whatever was accomplished was bcuz of GOD .... Thats how we know for OURSELVES if we're full of PRIDE, if there's too many " I's " in our speech.. "I did this, I did that".
FLESH likes to be lifted up, FLESH likes to be mentioned and boasted about ... But Isaiah 64:6 says Our righteousnesses are as 'filthy rags' .... Secular music is nothing BUT boasting, Musicians bragging about themselves. But GOSPEL music boasts in GOD, THAT's what makes the difference... "I'm hot like this.. I'm fly like that... I'm the man in my city.... I'm a God"... You aint nthn, SHUT UP! .. All you do is make words rhyme James 4:6 says "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble" ..... Let us begin to walk in HUMILITY ppl, bcuz we don't want GOD resisting us, amen?? ..... HUMILITY causes us to esteem others Higher than we do ourselves .. But PRIDE says "No, I'M more important! I come first, it's all about ME!" ... HUMILITY causes us to be slow to speak and quick to listen.. But PRIDE can't wait til their turn to talk bcuz its more important anyway -__- ..... HUMILITY causes us to rejoice when others rejoice ... But PRIDE causes us to compete and top a person's good news with our good news .... HUMILITY causes us to take heed to warnings .... But PRIDE says "They just hatin' on me.. they mad cuz I'm poppin and they're not" Let us walk in HUMILITY (reader)! "One thing we have to understand is Jesus will soon to return … so we as Christains must not lose focus on why we're here. How are these sinners going to get saved and come to the knowledge of Christ if we're living just like them, and showing our family and friends it’s okay to willingly sin but as long as you repent? How will our family and friends learn how to live holy if they don’t have an example (YOU) to watch? How will this world experience the love of Christ if we're to busy fighting each other? This world is crying out for something and we have it (Christ) but we're so caught up in Ourselves, People, family and friends are dying and going to HELL!!! … In order for this world and family and friends to get saved we have to come together in Holiness , love , and unity with one mind and one spirit and one goal! As we depend on and trust Christ, these sinners are depening on us. We must become that light and that salt that we are called to be, but how will that happen if we're walking in Darkness? This world needs an example of Christ … will you show them ?" - Marvelle P. Jeremiah 29:13 - "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart" .... That's a promise from God HIMSELF that if we search for Him with all our heart, we will find Him ............ But are we searching for God with ALL our heart?? ..... The Lord said to "SEARCH" for Him, meaning, we're not gonna find Him on a Casual level ... It's gonna take some effort! .... It's gonna take more Prayer, more Fasting, more reading of God's Word, coming to Church more than just on Sunday - all of this with a sincere desire to experience God on another level.
This is how we know if we're seeking God with ALL our heart ..... Think of your favorite thing to do ----- You have to love seeking God more than that! ....... Get into a press and God will meet you, bcuz He promised He would & His Word cannot lie! God bless you (reader)! stay encouraged |
