Success Or Acceptance

Do we want SUCCESS or ACCEPTANCE??? ..... How many of us were told we'd never amount to anything, or were abandoned, left, used or abused.. or told we weren't good enough, or cute / handsome enough, etc.?? .... And how many of us have had the thought that "if I became Successful, it would prove everyone wrong that ever doubted me"??
 
If this is your case, I have to tell you that you're suffering from BITTERNESS... Success is not what you want. What you want is an Apology. You want to show "them" they were wrong about you, but striving hard just for that "Look at me now" moment will only temporarily satisfy you. The mental bondage we place ourselves in, by holding on to this type of hurt, is not destroyed by "stuntin" on those that caused this pain. That hurt will still be there & until we FORGIVE them, we will never have total Peace Of Mind ..... Forgive, not for them, but for YOU!
 
Ps. You don't need man's acceptance, because you have GOD's acceptance!
