QUESTION: "I have a relationship with God, but I don't feel like I have to go to church every Sunday. Is this wrong?"
RESPONSE: Think of it in terms of a relationship. The more we love someone, the more we want to spend time with them and enjoy their company. King David had a very close relationship with the LORD. He once said, "I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD!" (Psalm 122:1) Because he truly loved God, just to be in His presence brought David great joy. So instead of asking, "Is it wrong to not attend church every Sunday?", we should ask, "How much do I truly love God?"
