Life Abundantly

Since I was a child, I believed that after we get Saved, the next step is Heaven.. Like, once I get to Heaven, I will finally be satisfied... But I literally had to learn that God wants us to enjoy life here on Earth.. And we CAN! Psalm 37:4 says "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." .... God WANTS us to be happy! In fact, John 16:24 says, "...Ask, and you will receive, that your JOY may be full." .... So the idea of life here on Earth not being enjoyable, is a lie from the devil.

Many other young people believe this lie.. Hence the phrase, "I'll just get Saved when I'm old." ... Which, if we're honest, means, "After I'm done having all my fun and life is no longer enjoyable, I'll then live a boring Christian life." (lol) ..... The beginning of the scripture, John 10:10, says that the thief (satan) comes to steal.. He's stealing TIME from us.. TIME that we could actually be living a satisfied life. But the scripture John 10:10 ends saying, "I came that they may have LIFE and have it ABUNDANTLY." ^__^ 

God has so much to offer us.. Blessings, the desires of our hearts, but most importantly, He offers us a relationship with Him. He created Earth, then gave us dominion over all the works of His hands .... If all of this is His creation, how much fun do you think you can have with the CreatOR?
